Dear Colleague

Please find for your attention, correspondence from Joe Brogan, Assistant Director of Integrated Care, Head of Pharmacy and Medicines Management.

SUMMARY

  • HSCB have been made aware of a small number of companies supplying medicines/medical supplies into Northern Ireland who are using Delivered at Place (DAP) Incoterms meaning the buyer must complete the import declaration.
  • Import declarations can be raised via TSS free of charge. Contractors will not be reimbursed for any costs paid to independent brokers or third parties for completing import declarations via the usual BSO payment process.

ACTION

Contractors are asked to:

  • Note the contents of the letter; and
  • Advise HSCB via email to the Drug Tariff Co-Ordinator, veranne.lynch@hscni.net of any such issues, and they will endeavour to resolve the situation.

Yours sincerely

Mike
