SUMMARY
HSCB have been made aware of a small number of companies supplying medicines/medical supplies into Northern Ireland who are using Delivered at Place (DAP) Incoterms meaning the buyer must complete the import declaration.
Import declarations can be raised via TSS free of charge. Contractors will not be reimbursed for any costs paid to independent brokers or third parties for completing import declarations via the usual BSO payment process.
ACTION
Contractors are asked to:
Note the contents of the letter; and
Advise HSCB via email to the Drug Tariff Co-Ordinator, veranne.lynch@hscni.net of any such issues, and they will endeavour to resolve the situation.
Yours sincerely
Mike

S U M M A R Y
In light of the recent changes in guidance on COVID-19 vaccine dosing intervals, there is now an inaccuracy in the 100 x COVID-19 vaccination guide for adults (12page leaflet) which has been included in the Living Well pack.
A C T I O N
Once you have received the affected resource, please DO NOT use the printed 100 x COVID-19 vaccination guide for adults (12pp leaflet). Instead these should be destroyed.
A new allocation of the updated leaflets will be distributed to your pharmacy towards the end of January 2021.
Please use the online version in the interim period.
Yours sincerely
